Does acer chromebook have sd card slot. As for what model of acer 14 to get. Does it have a slot for sim card. And to be honest, even if your chromebook does have a memory card slot, i’d still recommend using usb because it’s more universal.
My original question amounted to whether acer's chromebook software will accomodate write access to a larger sd card formatted with exfat. About half of my sd card sticks out when fully inserted. I have done a powerwash, hardware reset, and went into the recovery tool and selected erase recovery media but it shows no usb or sd card.

I am having a very hard time understanding the differences between them. That is normal with the slot design they have. If you need to download an image from a pc, for example, that device is far more likely to have usb ports.

The graphics card is integrated with intel hd. Sd card mount is in front of unit, card can be inserted about 1/2 way than meets an obstruction. On insertion i recieve a prompt to format new media, but cannot reformat it.
